Il s'agit de la dernière version compilée pour les Mac PowerPC.
ohmiGene works under MacOS X (PowerPC or MacIntel : Lion, Snow Leopard, Leopard or Tiger) and under Windows (XP, Vista or Seven)


A genealogy created on Mac (Mac OS X) works on PC (Windows), and vice versa.

ohmiGene works exclusively in the folder which contains it.
Consequently, an USB key containing a working folder with the three versions of ohmiGene (MacIntel, PowerPC or Windows) can be connected on any computer : ohmiGene is immediately operational.


Data are handled with the encoding UTF8 : languages as the cyrillic can be used.
ohmiGene is THE program which respects GEDCOM format as well as possible

The structure of the database was defined to be in maximal agreement with the GEDCOM format.

If any context concerning the submission of a file to the church LDS is absent, almost totality of the other contexts are correctly handled (import, manipulation and export...) : individual records ou family records, evnts, attributes ... without forgetting the relations (tag ASSO), the multiple identities, neither the possible doubles (tag ALIA) ... contexts often ignored by many software !

ohmiGene is a software which respects a GEDCOM file at import (and export). It is very rare!
